Types of Residency Status
A resident status is needed if a foreigner is staying in Japan. Although it is not the same as a visa, this status of residence is frequently referred to as one in Japan.
There are currently 33 different residency statuses in Japan, including temporary visits. Everybody has different needs. Generally speaking, you are not allowed to do anything else once you have obtained a status of residence.
Dependent Visa
This type of residency is reserved for jobs requiring the application of foreign-specific knowledge and sensibilities. Specialist humanities and international affairs can be categorized as humanities jobs, while engineering (engineers and technicians) can be classified as science jobs. Career-track roles, interpreting, translating, and working abroad are among the jobs in the humanities.
Spouse or Child of Japanese National
Although it is officially known as “Spouse of Japanese National, etc.”, it is more commonly referred to as a spouse visa or marriage visa. The fact that there are no activity limitations is the main benefit of this residency status. You are able to carry out unskilled labor that is prohibited by other residency statuses.

Educational institutions comparable to these in terms of high school, advanced courses offered by vocational schools or general courses, different schools, apparatus, and structure.
Permanent residency
You can do anything you want in Japan as long as you have a permanent resident visa, which will allow you to travel and stay for as long as you want. As a result, you won’t need to renew your visa and can pursue any kind of employment you like. (Reentry permits need to be renewed individually.) Getting a permanent resident visa is therefore very advantageous for non-citizens.
